3rd Annual Chili Cookoff
When: Saturday January 21st 28th (new date!!) - 5:00 - 7:00 pm
Where: Soine Vineyards Winery
Cost: Free (must have chili dish to participate)
Details:
Bring any chili-related dish out to the winery. Participants should plan on bringing chili warmed in a crock pot. Outlets will be available to plug in crock pots. Dishes will be judged by all in attendance. Dishes will be separated into three categories:
- spiciest,
- most unique, and
- best flavor
Winners in each category will receive prizes for their award winning dish. If you do not want to enter a chilli but would like to taste and particpate there is a nominal fee of $5.00. Wine will be available for purchase by the glass and bottle. Bottled water will also be available for purchase. Soine Vineyards will provide bowls, utensils, and dipping bread. Please RSVP your attendance by January 17th!
Valentine's Day Gathering
Soine Vineyards cordially invites you to a Valentine's Day gathering at the winery featuring food and wine.
When: Saturday February 11th, 6p-8p

Cost: $45/couple

- Six wine samples paired with hors d'oeuvres.
- Chocolate fountain

- Bruschetta, hummus, and tapenade with French baguette
- Stuffed white and wheat pita with assorted meats and cheeses
- Mozzarella tomato basil salad
- Assorted brownies
- Assorted olives, cheeses and crackers
- Assorted fruit paired with chocolate fountain

Beginners Winemaking Class
When: February 18th - 5:30-7:00pm

If you've ever thought about trying your hand at making wine, now is the time! Come out to the winery and learn about the basics of winemaking. In this informal setting we will talk about the techniques used to make white, red, and blush wines. Class attendees will learn about the winemaking process from the harvest right up through bottling. Hors d'oeuvres will be offered.
